Rolling Hills Memorial Park is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Services Ambassador to support families by assisting with burial procedures, graveside services, and committal ceremonies. This role focuses on cemetery services, including providing on-site support during burials and ensuring a seamless experience for families.
Compensation: $21 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time
Location: Rolling Hills Memorial Park located in Richmond, California.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist families by providing guidance and support during burials, graveside services, and committal ceremonies.
• Stand and assist during graveside services to ensure proper procedures are followed and that families receive respectful service.
• Escort families to designated burial locations and provide support as needed.
• Ensure seamless coordination of services, maintaining a calm and compassionate presence.
• Provide light physical support, such as setting up chairs, moving supplies, and handling small equipment.
• Offer general administrative assistance, including following up with families, answering inquiries, and coordinating cemetery services.
• Support the Family Service team with daily tasks and provide assistance on special projects for the Family Service Manager and Managing Partner.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide empathetic, professional service.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the Family Services team.
• Comfort working in both indoor and outdoor environments, assisting families in designated gardens and handling administrative tasks.
• Prior cemetery or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
• This role involves a combination of indoor and outdoor work, including assisting families in specific gardens and performing administrative duties inside the office.
• Some light lifting or setup of event-related equipment may be required.
• Must be adaptable to various working conditions, ensuring burial services and administrative tasks are handled efficiently.
• Works on Weekends
